Tree Climber/Groundman Position

We are currently looking to add a part-time/full-time, motivated, and hardworking Tree Climber/Groundman to join our team!
What you’ll do:
Using proper and safe climbing techniques and equipment while pruning, cabling, inspecting, removing the tree and more.
Operate and maintain all vehicles, machinery, and equipment such as mini track loader, work trucks with large trailers attached, saws, and more.
Thorough cleanup of the job site per company standards.
Knowledge of trailer hookups, loading, and unloading.
Work as an active team member even when not up in the tree, to ensure the whole crew is working efficiently and together to complete the job.
All pruning, cabling, and removals will be done in accordance to the standards established by the TCIA and ISA.
Minimum requirements:
1-year minimum tree climbing experience in the arboricultural care industry.
Flexible schedule during the week and potential emergency availability on the weekends.
Driver’s ID and ability to drive large trucks with trailers attached.
Appreciation and respect for nature and clients’ property.
We maintain a smoke-free environment, must be able to refrain from smoking during the entire workday.
Bonus skills (not required):
Knowledge of ANSI A300 Standards.
Knowledge of tree biology and morphology.
Advanced knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment.
What we offer:
$300-$400/day (climber), $150-$250/day (groundmen) – salary will be established according to experience, skill level and productivity.
Hours will depend on current job volume.
English and Spanish speaking crew members.
